At All Florida Hockey we continue our monthly tribute to outstanding Florida youth hockey players by recognizing 2008 player Joseph McBride.
Jospeh McBride Started playing hockey in June of 2018 at Kendall Ice Arena. He loved watching hockey on TV, the physical nature of the sport and wanted to try to play it himself. Halfway thru the hockey season he had the luck of joining the U10 toros and a talented group of hockey players. Joseph practiced and played as much as he could at the arena and at home to improve his play to a travel hockey level.
In January 2019 he was selected to represent the Toros as a shooter in the Panthers Squirts one on one shootout. He played both of his U12 years with the Toros then switched to the Pines Golden Wolves in 2021. Jospeh loves to play travel hockey for the competition of league games, tournaments and to make new friends. Joseph also likes to travel to all the rinks in the state and going to new destinations for end of season tournaments. He makes friends quickly and has a number of friends on teams throughout South Florida.
He also loves to go snow skiing in Colorado, boogie boarding at the beach and playing video games with his friends. He is looking forward to trying out for high school hockey as well as moving on to U16 next season. Joseph has an older brother attending UCF and is thinking he may want to attend college there and maybe tryout for the UCF Hockey club team.
